FileComparator
The program is used to compare individual files,
to see if the files are the same.
You know the problem: You have many, many files, many similar directories and over time you have lost track of which is the latest and most recent version of the files. Or is this renamed file actually exactly the same as this other file?
With FileComparator you can tell the difference quickly, because FileComparator can detect differences between files with an error probability of about 10E-69.
The program is available for Windows (64bit / from VISTA upwards) and
for Linux / Ubuntu (64bit, tested and developed under Lubuntu).
The system requirements are minimal, the respective program has a footprint of less than 1 MB, the setup file significantly less than 5 MB.
